Waddle Doos are a recurring type of enemy found in the Kirby franchise. They are small, one-eyed creatures which are relatives of Waddle Dees, and they make their first appearance in Kirby's Dream Land. Waddle Doos slowly move, sometimes hop, and occasionally use their beam. The attack is curved as a whip and travels slowly from up to down.

History

Super Smash Bros. series

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, whenever King Dedede uses Waddle Dee Toss, there is a possibility of him throwing a Waddle Doo instead of a Waddle Dee. Upon being thrown at the opponent, the Waddle Doo walks around the stage, sometimes firing its beam at other fighters.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Waddle Doos are featured as an enemy in Smash Run, with very similar behavior as in the Kirby franchise. Fighters caught in the beam can take multiple damage and some knockback. Waddle Doos also have slightly more health than Waddle Dees. They are also occasionally thrown by King Dedede when using his Waddle Dee Toss in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, while one appears as a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
