It takes its information directly from numerous sources of the Kirby franchise, from old to new. The wiki was founded by DarkMatterMan4500 on August 3, 2021. It began with the url kirbyencyclopedia.miraheze.org, but since November 30, 2021, its URL has been shortened to kirby.miraheze.org. Since May 12, 2022, the url kirbywiki.com serves as a redirect to this wiki.
