Extra Mode, known as Extra Game in earlier releases, is an additional mode featured in several games of the main Kirby series. It is usually unlocked by clearing the main game. The Extra Mode is usually a variation of the main game at a higher difficulty level. Kirby's Dream Land is the first game to feature an Extra Mode.
